Across the Diamond there is a "Transfer track" allowing trains going westbound on the Prosper to go Westbound onto the K.O. followed by another crossover.

Description:  Standing on the road bed of an old GN Branch line to Page ND, onto Devils Lake and eventualy ending at Hansboro ND. Part of the KO Sub from here to Casselton ND. the line still continues on from here, its blocked by the pile of dirt, a switch off to the right on the Prosper Sub is how train get on the line. the old line now curves left and the old "Surrey Cut Off" seen ahead, joins it where the old cutoff is now the KO Sub.

Description:  Eastbound Control signal "East Hannaford". Built by the GN on the "Surrey Cut-Off" as a shortcut from Fargo to Minot, bypassing Grand Forks and Devils Lake. Note the main has a tall signal mast while the siding has the small "pot" signal.

Switch to the Ex-NP Sanborn-McHenry spur.
Title:  Switch to the Ex-NP Sanborn-McHenry spur.
Description:  Looking East from the Hannaford Siding on the Ex-Gn "Surry Cut-off" there used to the a Diamond with the NP's spur line from Sanborn to McHenry about where the switch off the Main is. The closest switch stand is for the Depot track which is behind me. the second switch leads to the Ex-NP line and ends after 200 yards, most all of the NP line is torn out.

Ex-NP Sanborn-McHenry Spur.
Title:  Ex-NP Sanborn-McHenry Spur.
Description:  Looking north from the Ex-NP Sanborn to McHenry spur. There used to be a diamond with the Ex-GN just beyond the trees, all is owned by the BNSF now. The diamond is gone and is replaced with a switch off the Siding. Currently everything north of Hannaford is torn up. The rails are still in place from Hannaford to Walum, but out of Service. Walum to Sanborn ND is torn out with the exception of a 1.5 miles stretch CP uses to service an Anhudrous south of Rogers ND, and a 2 mile stretch north of Sanborn BNSF uses for storage.

Description:  Looking East at the Switch to the Ex-NP Sanborn-McHenry Spur. There used to be a diamond approximantly where the far signal is. Today all is owned by the BNSF, the diamond is gone and the track curving left only goes 200 yards, everything is torn out from here to McHenry.
