Description:  Westbound Control Signal OTVR JCT. for the OTVR. The St.Paul, Minneapolis and Manitoba built from St.Cloud to Barnesville, then north to Crookston, when the GN aquired the SPM&M they quickly built a line from Moorhead to Barnesville. This is that line, the BNSF prosper sub starts at this signal. Track diverging from left is the old GN main from Willmar Via Breckenridge. With the aquatition of the SPM&M the GN now had 2 main lines from the Twin Cities to Fargo and then to Minot.

The bridge is Intersate 94, 1.5 miles away. this is the Ex-GN line from St. Cloud to Barnesville, Ada, and finally Crookston where it joined another GN line and ran north to Noyes.

Description:  The straight track coming from the distance and heading to the left used to be the old main from St.Cloud, to Crookston and onward to Noyes MN. It now ends just a few miles north of here at a shuttle load facility. The track that I am standing on goes to Moorhead and used to be the main line from St. Cloud to Minot and points west. It is now the OTVR line from Fergus Falls to Moorhead.

There used to be a diamond here with the GN main line from St. CLoud to Barnesville. the old NP grade can be seen to the right of the caboose. On the old GN we are 186 miles from the Harrison St. where the 261 shops are. on the NP we are 49 miles from Wadena.
